ICBC:

Please contact the office if you are an existing patient with a new ICBC claim, or are a new patient with an ICBC claim number (within 12 weeks of MVA). Not all practitioners bill to ICBC and additional time and paperwork may be required.

WorkSafe BC:

We can only bill for chiropractic visits if it is a new claim (within 8 weeks). Please contact the office to book if this is a new WSBC claim as additional time and paperwork may be required.

Our massage therapists do not bill to WSBC so all visits must be paid in full at time of service and submitted to WSBC for reimbursement.

Thompson Valley Naturopathic Clinic

We are unable to accept new Naturopathic patients at this time however we can book for Dr. Faren Brogan in the new year.

Any current patients wanting to book a phone appointment must have a valid credit card on file to process the visit fee. Visa/Debit and MC/Debit can only be accepted in-office.

Baylei DePaulo is a dedicated Registered Massage Therapist who grew up in Kamloops and graduated from the Okanagan Valley College of Massage Therapy (OVCMT) in Vernon in 2014. With a passion for an active lifestyle and a love for sports, she focuses her practice on deep tissue massage and sports rehabilitation. She is also skilled in advanced techniques such as the Graston technique and kinesio taping, helping her clients recover from injuries and maintain peak physical performance. Outside of her practice, she enjoys staying active and spending time with her three chihuahuas.

Dr. Shane Gathercole is an enthusiastic Chiropractor who is eager to help people manage their pain and improve their quality of life. He was born and raised in Kamloops and has had a life-long involvement with Kamloops Minor Hockey as both a player and coach. He is the proud father of Jozie and Quincy Gathercole.

Dr. Gathercole attended Simon Fraser Univeristy and then Western States Chiropractic College in Portland, Oregon. In 2000 he graduated Chiropractic College as valedictorian and also attained a Bachelor’s Degree in Human Biology.

Dr. Gathercole is highly trained in treating many types of injuries including those resulting from sports, motor vehicle accidents, work-related accidents and postural stresses. As a complement to Chiropractic treatments home exercises and stretches are often prescribed once an examination has been done and a working diagnosis has been reached.

Dr. Gathercole is also experienced in the prescription and fitting of orthotics / insoles to help alleviate foot, ankle, knee, hip and lower back pain.

Carlie was born and raised in Kamloops BC. In 2012 she started taking small trips and soon found that traveling was her passion. After living in Australia for a year and traveling around South East Asia, she returned to Kamloops and started working at a mill. In 2016 Carlie realized that working at a mill wasn’t for her and decided to move to Vernon to attend Okanagan Valley College of Massage Therapy.

Carlie graduated in 2018 and is now a part of the team at Gathercole Chiropractic & Massage. She has an active background and some of the sports she played growing up were hockey, basketball, soccer, volleyball and her favorite, rugby. Now her activities of choice are snowboarding, wakeboarding and hiking during the summer.

Carlie’s preferred areas of practice are working with sports injuries, chronic pain, and helping those who suffer from headaches. A few techniques she has experience with are Myofascial release, Swedish Massage, Pregnancy Massage, Joint Mobilization, Infant Massage, Trigger Point work, Sports Massage and Deep Tissue. Carlie starts and finishes each session with an assessment, performs special tests and always ends with educating the patient and giving homecare. She plans to continue growing by taking continuing education courses to further her knowledge and abilities to help others.

Trevor Milne has been an RMT since 2002, graduating from Okanagan Valley College of Massage Therapy in Vernon, BC.

Upon graduation, Trevor went to work on cruise ships for Princess cruises and worked in a variety of spas in Vancouver, Harrison Hot Springs, and Sun Peaks, before settling in Kamloops in 2006.

In the 12 years he’s been an RMT, Trevor has taken many continuing education courses in deep tissue, fascial manipulation, and neuro-muscular therapies which has given him a skill set to assess and treat a wide array of soft tissue conditions from rehabilitation and muscle strain to maintenance and chronic conditions from overuse.

Kim grew up in White Rock, BC and moved to Kamloops in 2007. She became certified in Personal Training and Group Fitness in 2014 due to her strong passion in health and wellness.

Formerly worked in trades, she decided to join the team of health professionals and leave the industrial industry. Kim felt it was integral to keep herself strong to work in an industrial setting. Kim’s love for health and fitness sparked a desire for a career change and retired trades in 2019.

Kim enrolled in the 200 hour Yoga Teacher Training in Bali, Indonesia and upon her return to Canada, moved herself and her two daughters to Vernon, BC where she completed the Massage Therapy Program at OVCMT. Kim has been practising as an RMT since 2022.

She is thrilled to work with patients, listen to their concerns and help them become physically stronger and educate them on the benefits of an active lifestyle.

Kim incorporates heat applications, myofascial release, functional movement, deep tissue, trigger point therapy and neuromuscular techniques to help get clients back to normal daily activities.
